Making audio drama is expensive, and the revenue from adverts helps keep us in business. Without adverts, Bandcamp / Ko-Fi goes some way to filling that deep ol' money-pit. 

Almost all the profits get fed straight back into production. Meanwhile Laurence & Lindsay live in a shoe and survive on a diet of magic beans and love.

When is the next season of Mockery Manor / why are there long gaps between seasons?

Hey, our output is about ten times faster than the average streamer. The kids in Stranger Things were legally able to drive a rental car by the final season. 

And considering we're only two people, and considering we have other jobs to keep us afloat, we actually work incredibly fast! You wouldn't believe how dangerously hard we flirt with burn-out, hahahaharghelp.

How long does Mockery Manor: the Murder Mystery Game take to play?

Well! There are many answers to that question. The average is about 2 to 4 hours, but this reviewer took a whopping 13 hours. This is testament to the huge amount of detail we put into the game, and to the man's stamina and unquenchable lust for mystery.

Will there be another game?

Yes indeed! We bloody loved making the other one. We're launching a Kickstarter in late 2026 / early 2027 for Mockery Manor: Curse of the Were-Mummy (a Bette Armstrong mystery). Anyone who signs up to the pre-launch gets a free gift when they pledge!

What's the deal with Magenta Presents? Is it a pod-fade?

Magenta Presents is where we put our more peculiar fare. Whenever we create something suitably dark, that's where it goes. And when we have some spare cash, we solicit wyrd short-stories from others and feature them on the channel.

But yes, Magenta Presents goes dormant quite a lot. It's not dead, though! It's just waiting in the shadows and wiggling its bum, ready to pounce when you least expect it.
